Three paramedics, three time zones.
ParaPodcast is a podcast by paramedics, for paramedics — bridging continents and perspectives.

Conversations that shape the world.
ParaPodcast was born from a simple idea: paramedics everywhere face similar challenges, but rarely get to share solutions across borders. We created this platform to bridge international perspectives and foster academic discussions that inspire and educate EMS professionals worldwide.
From pre-hospital ECMO in the UK to EMS system building in Namibia, from mental health awareness in Australia to paediatric weight estimation in South Africa — every episode expands the boundaries of what paramedicine can achieve.
Our conversations have sparked research collaborations, mentored students, and created a community where African EMS voices are heard loud and clear.
The people behind the mics.
Bringing diverse perspectives from across the African continent and beyond.

From a WhatsApp group to a global platform.
ParaPodcast began as late-night voice notes between three paramedics scattered across the globe. Elias in Dubai, Malusi in Adelaide, Thulani in Doha — all asking the same questions about their profession, sharing papers, debating protocols.
We realised that the conversations we were having were ones that thousands of paramedics were hungry for. So we hit record. Our first episode went live with little fanfare, but the messages started pouring in: from Namibia, Kenya, the UK, Australia, the US.
Today, ParaPodcast is a growing community — 40 episodes, 34+ expert guests, and EMS professionals across four continents who believe better care starts with better conversations.
