Nick van der Walt

Nick van der Walt is a South African Emergency Care Practitioner and the Head of Training and Development at Access Professional Development. He has more than 18 years of prehospital emergency-care experience and over two decades of snakebite-management expertise. A member of the National Snakebite Advisory Group and a speaker at snakebite symposiums in Southern Africa, he co-authored South African guidance on the prehospital diagnosis and management of snakebite envenomation.
